Tip chip, then dull, then mutichips along length.

Tip chip, then dull, then mutichips along length. It makes me think that the ceramic was either not hardened properly and was too soft or too brittle. I have other Ceramic knives and they have not done this. It was a Gift and I don't want to have bad feelings connected to it. If they would honor there Warranty then at least I could feel good about this Company. I remember that it said Lifetime Warranty and I feel bad that there is no place to have it honored. I have looked on Google, Bing Ask etc. to find a way for them to make contact. No Luck If somebody found a way to reach them please let me know. Thanks

Gets Dull - No Customer Service

I don't mind the small chip in the blade... happened early. My fault. They promise replacement if it gets dull, but their customer service number does not work. But the blade is dull and I want it sharpened or REPLACED AS IN GARANTEE. I have had this knife for 3 years. Do not still have any purchase receipt, but the item is what it is with obvious brand name on it, so it should be replaced in any case. This complaint requires 100 words... what's up with that. I'm done. Here are extra words abc def ghi jkl mno pqr stu vwxyz

Handle broke

Loved cutting tomato's, onions, potato's, etc with this knife but the handle broke while cutting a potato today. The knife is great but blade chipped and now handle broke. Will Yoshi blade uphold their word and replace it? Entering one hundred words to have this submitted is kind of odd and ***. Let's see how I can pass the time and get to one hundred words. It was a beautiful day today until the Yoshi blade knife handle broke while I was cutting potato's for our Easter meal. I still used the knife because it cut the potato's much easier than any of the metal knives I have.

I was cutting lettuce and the blade chipped in 3 places. I wash it only by hand and was very disappointed when it chipped.

Everyone they're scamming should file class action lawsuit for false advertising

Customer service told me "There's no lifetime warranty". That's all they said to me! Not even an apology! I responded by saying that everyone they're scamming should file a class action lawsuit against them for false advertising! It's horrible customer service to not apologize to the customer who's money you stole but also to not rectify the problem! They've obviously collected all of our money & ran! I hope people read this before they go to buy this product. Hopefully this will change their minds & people will stop buying this faulty product! Unfortunately for us we didn't no about it!

Yoshiblade Lifetime Warranty

Took special care; hand washed and dried. However the end of the knife chipped then it broke in two. I would like a replacement as it has a lifetime warranty. If it breaks, then I will just toss and cut my losses. This was a gift from my family. Just do not want to spend good money after bad to send back. I tried to find the "official web site" and received an error and it appears that it is sold through third parties. Send to: 7548 Sienna Ridge Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76131. If received, I will post blog again.

Handle broke

The knife worked quite well slicing meats, vegetables and most anything we use in the kitchen. However, we want to offer this word of caution. It IS sharp, and tonight while cutting a large boneless pork roast in half, my wife was almost a candidate for a trip to the emergency room. The handle broke, sending the blade flying across the room. I surely don't want any replacement, and would never buy another such knife. I'm just happy and relieved that she didn't hurt herself. Do yourself a big favor and don't buy this knife. It is very very dangerous.

KNIFE SPLIT IN HALF AND THE FIRST KNIFE CHIPPED

I have bought 2 Yoshi knives since last Christmas. and both took a ***. I am pissed I love that knife. the first one chipped and the second one broke right in half. I feel that I am entitled to a refund or at least 2 other knives. I bought both at 19.99 each. that's a lot of money to just throw away.exspecialy these days. I don't have that kind of money. and expected it to last alot longer than it did. and since it has a lifetime warranty. you should back up your product.I hope you return my money.joan todd

Yikes!! Too expensive to toss out.

Mine broke in half 1 1/2 inches from the handle while slicing a cucumber. I'm so glad my grandson wasn't holding the knife while helping me. Can NOTHING be done?

Years ago I had a problem with Cuisinart, but it was rectified immediately. Would sending a picture illustrate the problem with the manufacturer of this product?

You are going to have to go to their web site and do your complaining instead of doing it here.

Ceramic blades are fragile and don't really cut well or retain their sharpness. You bought the name "Yoshi blade." And, you overpaid for it, I expect.

I bought some ceramic blades two years ago on clearance for a cheap price and ended up throwing them away as almost useless with an inability to maintain sharpness, etc. Consider this a learning experience.

Mr

Used the blade for 8 months, pretty much problem free. Liked the product out of the box, with some reservations. Having worked in the ag field, cutting fruit, I know what a sharp knife is. Yoshi is ok for cutting vegies, but definitely NOT a great knife for slicing tomatoes for instance. Took the warnings to heart and was careful. Knife never worked as claimed. NOT a very sharp knife and ABSOLUTELY dulled during the last 8 months. Today the blade broke in half while cutting carrots. After reading the reviews, comments and complaints, tried to reach Yoshi's web site. Not available. Wasn't surprised. Since no warranty is provided, I figure this was a live and learn experience. Stick with steel, it's the real deal....

No complaint/ i need a reply

i have three yoshi blades, which were replacements on older yoshi blades. they work swell . i just have one that is dulling, can it be rehoned or do you just replace them? im told that i have to enter at least 100 words.i enjoyed my yoshi blades from the first day that i got them, the only problem with them was where the handle meets the blade there was a little *** in the handle and this would prevent you from chopping vegetables or meat as the blade would not be allowed to hit the chopping block compleatly. i brought this to the attention of yoshi blades. the next blade they came out with didnt have that *** on the handle. i sent in the old ones and they sent me three new ones in exchange.

My husband had the same thing happen to him. Cutting boneless chicken and it broke it the same spot as yours.

He almost cut his finger when it broke on him. Guess that is a $20 loss, well, make that $40 cause there were 2 bought.
